You don't want a dachshund puppy cheap because that means a poorly bred dogs. With the health problems that dog this breed, that will mean financial disaster for you down the road. You are better off finding a breeder through the Dachshund club. Make sure they do genetic testing and have health guarantees (not the ';good for one year'; guarantee or ';health certificate'; which only says they were healthy when you purchased them).





Even better - dachshund rescue, which is affordable and the dog is already spayed/neutered, microchipped, healthy and up to date on shots. Usually housebroken with training as well.

You want a cheap dachshund? If your not getting one from your local shelter or dachshund rescue , then your going to end up with one that is sick , unhealthy , not vet checked or had any attention .
I live in Ohio and every third dog I see is a Dachshund ... they're a dime a dozen here.

DON'T use price as a determining factor. A 'cheap' dog will be ill-bred and will end up costing you more in the long run because it will have more health issues than one acquired from a good breeder. try putting a ad in your local paper...that's how i find the good breeders that don't breed by kennel club breed standards...i live in ohio i have found all my akc purebreds by advertising in my paper looking for them...
