Does petsmart or petco have puppies for sale?

i'm looking for a yorkie, would petco or petsmart have any.Does petsmart or petco have puppies for sale?

They do occasionally partner with local rescues and offer dogs and cats for adoption. I've seen cats there before and greyhounds but usually not puppies. But I know that Petsmart advocates adoption and for this reason does not supply their stores with any cats or dogs outside of rescue organizations. Petco and Petsmart no longer sell puppies because of pressure from organizations to discontinue sale of dogs at their stores. When pet stores, especially large pet stores, sell dogs, they tend to encourage puppy mills. It is best to find a local breeder or adopt from a shelter.

Yorkies are really cute dogs... Petco or Petsmart doesn't sell dogs... only cats. Try your local breeder, or search on the internet for a breeder that sells yorkies. If you have a nearby pet store names Just Paws Pets, try there. They have a lot of puppies.

Not normally unless they have some sort of adoption day. Try petfinder.com. You just put in the animal you want and your zip code and it shows you all the available ones in your area. Over 25% of adoptable animals are purebred, you just have to look!! Good luck!
Maybe. In a few Petsmarts I've only seen cats, but the one nearest me sells dogs and puppies too. you might want to check out Petland too. they sell puppies and dogs.





IMO, i would get a pet from a shelter or Defense League, they badly need homes.
Every one has different animals. I now for a fact that both do sell animals. The only way to know for sure tho is to go down to you local petco and check. Yorkie's are adorable i bought mine at petco.
Petsmart doesn't sell dogs OR cats. They work with adoption agencies and allow people to come and adopt dogs from rescues who need good homes.





Please consider rescuing, don't buy a puppy from a pet store.
No. The only dogs and cats they ever have are from the humane society or local shelters. I've only seen cats there, not dogs.
In the one in my town, they have adoptions every saturday from 12-4.
