along road sideWhere is a good place to shop for puppies for sale in Houston?
Trader's Village, they have everything there, and that's where I got my dog.Where is a good place to shop for puppies for sale in Houston?
honestly at a WAL-MART parking lot
Go to the Houston SPCA and save a puppy!
Look in the papers or go to a pet store
The best place is the SPCA or a city shelter. All dogs and cats are checked out to be healthy. We got the best dog at the shelter down in Angleton. Smartest and most loyal dog we have ever had. If you want a pure breed go through individual breeders found in the newspaper. Stay away from mall pet stores no matter how clean they look. Trader's Village does sell dogs but they can be very expensive. Pay the $50--$75 for a dog at the SPCA. Spending more money doesn't mean you will get a better dog.
if you want a healthy puppy, go to the spca, cap, or other animal shelters. usually the animals come with current vaccinations, the proper spay/neuter, and are healthy. puppies from pet stores, traders village, etc are not always the best. plus, adopting an animal from a shelter is usually cheaper than the other places.
Check the Houston Chronicle News paper.
The Green Sheet.

try at the animal shelter, those animals need your help
Houston Humane Society or the SPCA. You can google either and get a list of all the puppies available. I've heard it's best to stay away from pet stores or from Trader's Village.
