Pit Bull puppies for sale in Maryland?

Does anyone know where i can find pit-bull puppies for a cheap price anywhere baltimore,md?Pit Bull puppies for sale in Maryland?
Check your local Humane Society or ASPCA.Pit Bull puppies for sale in Maryland?
Cheap is probably not an option if you want a healthy, purebred puppy.

First thing you should do is contact all the shelters in your area. That means Baltimore, Baltimore County, Howard County, all the counties around. If you're lucky they might just have gotten a pregnant pittbull. But keep in mind that a lot of shelters don't accept pittbulls at all. The only one I know of that is anywhere near you that does is in Arlington, Virginia, and they don't adopt pittbulls out to Maryland residents.

Second, you should contact a pittbull rescue. There might not be one near you. Baltimore is urban and pittbulls are rather big dogs, and they're more likely to be found out in the country. If you're willing to travel to Pennsylvania or Virginia you might find what you're looking for.

Third, you can find a reputable pittbull breeder. By reputable, I mean with papers, not just someone by the side of the road. Make sure the dog sees a vet BEFORE you buy it, and make sure the breeder has a return policy in case of undiagnosed birth defects or sickness.

Above all, do NOT buy a puppy from a backyard breeder or a non-reputable breeder. More likely than not any dog you get will be sick, violent, or suffer from birth defects. Unless you have oodles of money saved away for possible vet bills, don't bother. If you have kids especially this is not a risk you want to take.
You will be able to find Many Pit Bull puppies in local animal shelters. You can search for Pit Bulls in your area on http://www.petfinder.com And not all dogs and puppies are listed on petfinder, so it would be a good idea to visit the shelter also. The adoption fee is usually between $100-$200 depending on which shelter you adopt from. And this fee usually includes all vaccines, heartworm test and prevention, and spay/neuter, depending on age.

Try checking the papers. Pits are definitely a popular breed to have, so they shouldn't be that hard to find. In my area, the papers are usually covered with ads about pit bull pups and they usually run anywhere from $200-$500 for a good, healthy pup, anything cheaper than that I wouldn't trust.

Like the others have said, check your local pet shelters. You could try calling the Humane Society and ask if they know where you could find one.

Good luck

Hope that helps :D
You can try petfinder.com, your local pound, the classified section of your local newspaper, a Pit Bull rescue group, or look for a reputable breeder in your area (certainly not a ';cheap'; option, but always a good option to keep in mind).

A quick google search will pull up some Pit Bull rescue groups for you. You can also add your state to the search to get more results for your area.

Hope this helps, and good luck in your search.
