You can also try local pet stores or feed stores (though they don't sell puppies - they may be aware of some breeders in that area).





Also try your local veterinarian. The Germans are very particular about their pets %26amp; puppies health, so all breeders have excellent relationships with their veterinarians, and the vets will know who the breeders are.





If you are associated with the Military, you can try calling your local military veterinarian, and ask them if they have a list of breeders in their area. I used to work for the Hanau VTF, and we updated our local (European) breeders list quarterly.





You can also try your local Tierheim (animal shelter). They have very strict guidelines on adopting a pet.... but its only because they want to ensure the pet gets a loving forever home that will provide love, medical care and training for the rest of this pets life.
