I don't know of any breeders in England but there are a lot of really good breeders with Engliish bloodlines here in the states. You can google english labrador breeders and that should give you a lot of good websites. Its a place to start. If you buy out of the country there will be lot more fees and hassle with getting the puppy here. I have a friend who imports Great Danes from Europe and its a pain. Good luck.
Well if you google, Labrador breeder in the south of england,you might be able to find a breeders page.Maybe petfinder? not really sure about that one. Alot of breeder advertise in news papers. Just make sure the breeder is legit and hands over all the papers they have,including shot records and health!

Try looking in www.champdogs.co.uk for breeders in your area,





keep an eye on local press,





or look on eBay groups for Labrador Breeders groups...seriously, if you join and leave a genuine message someone will know someone in your area who can give the name of a good breeder.





Don't buy a pup under 10 weeks, always view both parents or at least the mum.





Golden retrievers are a better breed though....:)
It really depends what you want them for. If its a pet and you want it to be a family pet: go to the local vets and ask them for the name of a reputable local breeder. All breeds have their issues. If you buy from a private house with a few pups they will usually be cheaper but you do not know what problems you are buying. I have a friend who had a Lab that had a menu of problems. If you want a working dog avoid pedigree breeders. Google it (sorry yahoo it) also.
Go to the Kennel Club website. They have a list of breeders. You should be able to find one in your area or close by. Or you can check the local Lab rescue if there is one in your area.

Ask in your local vets, contact the Labrador club, but please don't buy on the Internet!





Make sure you see the pups with their mummy AND daddy, also make sure the breeder microchips and vaccinates before letting puppy go!
Theres Labrador rescues all over the UK and Labs in normal rescue centres. But if you are going to buy from a breeder please make sure the dogs parents have had all their health checks.
Shelters are full of purebred puppies. Seriously. Sad, huh?
