Try searching online for reputable breeders in your area - breeders are a little more expensive than say, a pound - but you're getting what you paid with a well-bred, quality dog. There's a slim chance that anyone will be able to find a breeder for the breed they specifically want in their hometown, so be prepared to go on a trip. Other than that you can check out your local Humane Society - but you may have to settle on a cross-breed. Keep checking the papers, and search online for local dog rescues and maybe let them know that what your looking for so they can contact you when the right dog comes in. Looking for the right breed can take quite a while, so good luck. Are there any saint bernard puppies for sale in houston texas?
